BORN MAY 26, 1983
Muscle Shoals, AL

Zac grew up in LaGrange, AL, right outside of Muscle Shoals, with his four sisters and his mother and father. This is where his roots in music were born. His entire family today is still full of talented musicians, singers and songwriters that are active in the music industry. Zac's father was one of the original Hacker Brothers.

At the age of 8 years old, Zac let his fingers do the walking on his first guitar. Not long after, at the age of 13, he played his first show. While playing gigs in his early teens, Zac met and became great friends with fellow musician, Gary Nichols, who is now a Universal Records recording artist. Zac and Gary were both involved with the first FAME Tuesday Music Club. After impressing everyone on Tuesday's, Zac was signed to an Exclusive Songwriting Deal with FAME at the age of 20yrs old. In only 2 years, Zac has had the privilege to write with well known singer songwriters such as Robert Byrne ("Two dozen roses", "What I'd Say") Russell Smith ("Third Rate Romance", "Keep It Between the Lines"), and Dave Gibson ("Ships That Don't Come In", "Queen of Memphis").
